Honestly while i'm no stranger to Corta's work, i only just recently started following it, so i really don't know much about Corta or the way he works. I guess on other surfaces it seems like the blasts are hitting something invisible by comparison. Something more randomly generated would have been better for this idea, instead of a story-driven platformer. I noticed that the energy attacks get more ranged when used on the far right side of the arm-platform than anywhere else. I've had that problem with brawler games, although with brawlers you can at least crank up the difficulty and get a lot more mileage out of the same few situations.
